Named for an ancestral communal house and ritual space in some South American tribes, "Maloca" is inspired by a story from the Ticuna, who are an indigenous people of Brazil, Colombia, and Peru.
This painting was created for KIDS, a fundraiser and group show curated by MasPaz to support La Casa De La Madre Y El Niño orphanage in Bogota, Colombia.
